The Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board (OMREB) reported a 31 per cent year-over-year increase in sales volume in September 2016, as active listings dropped 23 per cent across the entire region compared to the same period compared to the previous year.

Healthy local demand and confidence is fueling market activity: June 2016 results from an OMREB survey showed that 56 per cent of residential real estate purchasers were from within the Okanagan, 18 per cent from the Lower Mainland or Vancouver Island, and 12 per cent from Alberta.
