Local artist Raj Jain is inviting people to grab a brush, explore the city, and discover the art in everyday life with his new Walking Watercolor Wednesdays workshop series.
Hosted by Studio on Water, the weekly outdoor sessions start June 25 and run every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. through the summer.

Jain is a multidisciplinary artist, filmmaker, and visual storyteller whose work explores themes of travel, queer identity, belonging, and cultural transition.
His art is currently on display in the Okanagan, with upcoming exhibitions planned for the Canadian Country Music Awards in Kelowna and international showcases in Germany and Czechia as part of Chemnitz 香蕉视频直播 European Capital of Art 2025.
Walking Watercolor Wednesdays are open to everyone, even if you香蕉视频直播檝e never picked up a brush. Participants will wander Kelowna香蕉视频直播檚 streets, waterfront, and tucked-away spots, learning how to sketch and paint using ink and watercolour.
Each three-hour session costs $65 per person, but those who register for the June 25 launch will receive a 20 per cent discount.
