The 18th annual YMCA Cycle for Strong Kids took over Stuart Park in Kelowna on June 1.
Riders hopped on stationary bikes set up at the park to help raise funds to ensure every child has access to a YMCA membership no matter their family's financial situation.
"We provide mental health supports, education and drop-out prevention programming, as well as family support systems," said the YMCA of Southern Interior BC's Vice-President of Marketing and Philanthropy Tammie Watson.
Aside from cycling, the day included food vendors, a kid zone, wellness tents, and some street hockey.
The fundraiser goal of $220,000 was met during the final ride slot at 1 p.m. until June 10.
