Princeton Ground Search and Rescue (GSAR) took to the skies this week to participate in another training session.
On May 7, nine members from Princeton GSAR travelled to Penticton for a full day of hover entry and entry training with a team from Eclipse Helicopters. The specialized training is a crucial step in preparing for helicopter-based rescue activities in difficult terrain.
"We're proud of our members for putting in the time and effort to keep their skills sharp," Princeton GSAR stated. "Huge thanks to Eclipse for their professionalism and support in helping us train safely and effectively."
Helicopter training is just one of the many steps Princeton GSAR is taking to be ready for whatever the next call brings, ensuring the community is always safe and in good hands.
