Multiple RCMP officers descended on Mission Square in Kelowna on Wednesday night.
Police previously stopped a vehicle in the 600 block of KLO Road at about 9:25 p.m.
Several minutes later, two men from the vehicle were seen being placed in handcuffs by police in the parking lot of the TD Bank.
According to Sgt. Laura Pollock and the two were detained and then subsequently released in relation to an illegal drug investigation.
