With a heat warning currently in effect for communities across the Okanagan, Kelowna residents and visitors seeking relief can visit several locations in the city to stay cool.
A City of Kelowna media release notes that all municipal facilities are available during operating hours throughout the summer.
This includes recreation and activity centres, libraries and public parks and beaches.

- City Park Waterpark (1600 Abbott Street)
- Ben Lee Waterpark (900 Houghton Road)
- Quilchena Splash Park (347 Quilchena Drive)
To ensure transportation is not a barrier to keeping cool, Kelowna transit fares will be waived during this heat warning. Just indicate to the driver that you are travelling to a place to cool down.
The city香蕉视频直播檚 release also notes that this is a good time to check on friends, neighbours and loved ones susceptible to heat, including those without air conditioning or living alone.
