CMHA Kelowna is looking for donations to provide relief and support to individuals affected by the summer heat, particularly those who are unhoused or experiencing housing instability.
Through its Community Roots Outreach Program, staff provide essential items such as water, sunscreen, heat-appropriate clothing, and conduct wellness checks.

A heat warning has been issued for the Southern Interior of B.C. with temperatures forecast to reach between 33 and 35 degrees C in Kelowna between July 29-31.
Gawliuk added that seniors, people with mobility challenges, and those living in poverty are also among those at risk.
CMHA Kelowna is accepting donations of high-need items, including:

- Women香蕉视频直播檚 summer clothing
- Reusable water bottles
- Reusable bags/backpacks
- Toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner, nail clippers, hairbrushes, etc.)
- Umbrellas
- Hand-held fans
Donations can be dropped off Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. at CMHA Kelowna香蕉视频直播檚 office located at 504 Sutherland Avenue.
