'Fore' A Good Cause: 3rd Annual Helicopter Ball Drop at Kelowna airport

A golf ball could be your ticket to a travel adventure.

The YLW Helicopter Ball Drop is back for its third year at the Okanagan Golf Club on Thursday, July 10 at 5:30 p.m.

The event will see 872 numbered golf balls dropped from a helicopter onto the driving range. The three balls that land closest to each of the three flags will each win one of three grand prizes.

All proceeds go to the Kelowna International Airport (YLW) Scholarship Fund, which helps local students in aviation and aerospace programs.

This year香蕉视频直播檚 prize packages were donated by YLW香蕉视频直播檚 airline partners:

  • Prize One: A European escape with round-trip flights for two on Condor Airlines from Kelowna to Frankfurt, Germany, via Vancouver or Calgary.
  • Prize Two: A once-in-a-lifetime Yukon experience. Courtesy of Air North and partners, this trip includes return airfare to Whitehorse, four nights at a top Yukon hotel, a Northern Lights viewing experience with Northern Tales, and a Tombstone Mountains tour. You can pick between a summer ride along the Dempster Highway or a winter tour along the North Klondike River.
  • Prize Three: A WestJet roundtrip flight for two to any of their regularly scheduled destinations (blackout dates and restrictions apply).

Tickets are $25 each or four for $90 and can be .

The event is made possible thanks to Valhalla Helicopters and Pattison Outdoor Media, with prizes donated by Air North, Condor Airlines, and WestJet.
