Peachland seeks public input on growth, downtown revitalization

Big changes could be coming to Peachland and the district wants residentsÏã½¶ÊÓÆµÖ±²¥™ help deciding what theyÏã½¶ÊÓÆµÖ±²¥™ll look like.

Two major planning projects are now underwayÏã½¶ÊÓÆµÖ±²¥” an update to the Official Community Plan (OCP) and a Downtown Revitalization Strategy. The plans will guide future growth in the community.

The district is hosting two pop-up events next week. Residents can chat with the project team, and share what matters most to them:

Pop-up #1: Tuesday, July 8 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Beach Avenue and 6th Street (across from Swim Bay)

Pop-up #2: Thursday, July 10 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the IGA (5500 Clements Ave)

ThereÏã½¶ÊÓÆµÖ±²¥™s also an online survey where residents can weigh in on topics like housing, economic development, and downtown improvements.
