West Kelowna council has established a new organization to pursue economic growth and prosperity in the community. 

Mayor Gord Milsom announced the creation of the West Kelowna Economic Development Corporation (WKEDC) at council香蕉视频直播檚 March 25 meeting.

Milsom added their goal is to help shape the corporation香蕉视频直播檚 strategic direction, and contribute to the success of business development, retention and expansion in West Kelowna.

The city is looking for individuals with experience in legal and risk management; accounting; development planning or construction; agricultural, agri-tourism, or the wine industry; small business and retail; manufacturing and tech; and secondary or post-secondary education.
