Interior Health (IH) says there was a COVID-19 outbreak earlier this month at Penticton Regional Hospital.

The outbreak was declared on June 2 inside the hospital's rehab unit.

In a statement to Black Press Media, IH said a total of five cases were declared on that day.

"At this time, there are no updated numbers to share, as the outbreak remains active and case numbers continue to fluctuate," it reads.
