For the third time in less than a week, the emergency department at the South Okanagan General Hospital in Oliver is closed Friday night and into Saturday morning.
Interior Health (IH) stated that the ward will be closed from 7 p.m. Friday night (July 19) until 7 a.m. Saturday morning (July 20).
"Patients can access emergency care in during this time," said IH. "All other inpatient services will continue at South Okanagan General Hospital."
People in need of life-threatening emergency care are asked to call 911.
