Gen7 gas stations will be opening in Enderby and Cache Creek, the Indigenous-owned Canadian company announced Thursday, Aug. 14, 2025.

A growing Indigenous-owned Canadian gas station chain is continuing to expand, with new locations coming to Enderby and Cache Creek.

Gen7 announced the new stations Thursday following the successful opening of locations in Penticton, Osoyoos and Oliver, when the Ontario company made the Okanagan .

Gen7 has five stations in Ontario and says in the coming months it expects to announce more locations across B.C.

The Cache Creek station will be located at 2610 Highway 97, across from the Bonaparte Band Hall and Children's Centre. It will be run in association with Ace Stewart and his family of Bonaparte First Nation. It is expected to open in the summer of 2026.

The station in Enderby will open in late fall 2025 in association with the Joseph family and Splatsin First Nation.

Gen7 is Canada's only 100 per cent Indigenous-owned retail gas and convenience store chain. When it first entered the B.C. market in May 2025, the average price of fuel in Penticton dropped 10 cents per litre. The company expects its entry into other communities to have the same effect as its competitors respond to Gen7's pricing model.

It's the same fuel that mainstream competitors are offering, and Gen7's lower price comes from taking on much lower administrative costs that would normally be passed on to customers. The company says its convenience stores are also competitive with the mainstream brands but often at a lower cost.

Each Gen7 station is locally owned and operated, with Gen7 providing training, capital, marketing, operational support, and fuel management services.

At each of the new stations, Indigenous members will receive their full tax discounted fuel at the pump without having to submit paperwork to the province.

On Aug. 14, Gen7 held opening ceremonies at each of the new sites, including a smudge ceremony led by Gen7 director of community relations Gary Williams.
