UPDATE 2:30 p.m.
Highway 1 is now closed in both directions due to the rockslide, DriveBC states.
The rockslide took place between Watson Drive and Savona Access Road.
Detours are available using Highway 5, Highway 24, and Highway 97C.
DriveBC's next update is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.

Rocks have fallen onto the road on Highway 1 near Savona.
A photo posted to Facebook shows rocks and debris on the highway, but DriveBC has not confirmed the slide yet.
Highway 1 appears to be open in both directions, it's unknown at this time if its impacting traffic.
