Highway 97A in Enderby was closed for several hours after a crash Wednesday evening.
Vernon North Okanagan RCMP were called to the incident near Springbend Road around 7:15 p.m. June 11.
"A northbound semi-truck failed to negotiate the curve and spilled its load after the trailer became disconnected from the semi-truck," said Cpl. Tania Finn, media relations officer.
No injuries were reported and the driver of the semi-truck was issued a Motor Vehicle Act violation ticket for failing to keep right.
The highway was cleared shortly after 11 p.m.
