A Summerland quilt maker has been honoured for her podcast about quilting.
Brandy Maslowski香蕉视频直播檚 podcast, Quilter on Fire, was awarded the 2025 Women Podcasters Award in the Lifestyle category.
The show, in its fifth year, has more than 750,000 downloads and more than 200 episods. Listeners come from more than 20 countries.

Maslowski, a former firefighter, now travels extensively as a teacher, speaker and quilt judge.
She is also the editor of Quilting Arts Magazine and QuiltCon Magazine.
Her children香蕉视频直播檚 picture book, Kristy香蕉视频直播檚 Quilt, was published in 2014 and is illustrated by Summerland artist Marcia Stacy. The book is based on a true story and features 10-year-old girl who participated at a quilting retreat.
