It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ann Farnquist, a remarkable woman whose vibrant spirit and boundless energy touched all who knew her. Ann passed away on May 29, 2025, in her Kelowna, BC, home surrounded by family. Born on a farm in Whitburn, in Alberta's Peace River country, Ann was the proud middle child in a hardworking family. From her earliest days, she showed grit and determination香蕉视频直播攖raits that would define her extraordinary life. She often marveled at the journey she'd taken, from horse and buggy days to cruising in her beloved Mercedes. Ann's work ethic was legendary. Over the years, she juggled multiple jobs, helped run the trucking business she built with her beloved Ed, and could somehow still cook for 400 people without breaking a sweat. She was a true force香蕉视频直播攆earless, unstoppable, and endlessly capable. Ann had a deep love for life. She was social and lively, the life of every party, and a hostess with unmatched flair. Her sense of style was iconic香蕉视频直播攕he had closets full of clothes and always aimed for the very best. Whether she was arranging flowers with an artist's touch, baking and decorating cakes, or laughing with loved ones, Ann brought beauty and joy to everything she did. Even in her 80s, she was a whirlwind of activity, barely sitting still, and still walking just a week before her passing. She fought fiercely to stay with her cherished family; a true Mama Bear whose love knew no bounds. Kind, sensitive, creative, and strong, Ann's legacy is one of love, laughter, and unstoppable spirit. Her memory will be forever cherished by Ed Farnquist, her husband of 70 years; her daughter, Brenda (Stephen Sargeant) Farnquist; and granddaughter, Sofia Sargeant. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary & Bill Solomiany; son Wayne Edward Farnquist; and sisters Elsie and Nettie. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A Celebration of Ann's Life will take place on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 5:30 - 10:00 pm, in the Vintage Room, at the Hotel Eldorado, 500 Cook Road, Kelowna, BC.
