In loving memory ~
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon Glen Felske, who died tragically on April 1, 2025, at the age of 64, in a landslide on Westside Rd near Wilson's Landing, BC.
Gordon was born in Edmonton, Alberta, and was raised in Penticton, Victoria, and Kelowna. He spent many years in Cranbrook raising his family before returning to the Okanagan. He was a devoted father, proud grandfather, and caring partner.
He is lovingly remembered by his children Ginette (Robert) Morrison, Andrew (Jenna) Felske, and Jesse (Eryn) Felske; his grandchildren Isaak, Hannah, Aven, Eden, Rylee, Sam, and Jonah Felske; his former wife of over 30 years, Clara Felske; his brothers Denton Felske, Doug Felske, and Sheldon Felske; and his partner Carey Fumerton.
He was predeceased by his parents, Rueben Felske and Anne Cunningham, his brother James (Jim) Felske, and his stepfather Marc Cunningham.
Gordon was known for his extraordinary carpentry skills and dedicated work ethic. Over the course of his career, he built more than 100 homes across British Columbia. He had a deep passion for his work in construction and took pride in creating beautiful spaces where others could build their lives. One of his greatest joys was fireworks Ï㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥” his shows lit up countless community celebrations over the years. He also loved off-road racing, cooking, travelling, and sharing time and laughs with family and friends.
