The BC Senior Curling Championships are now underway in Penticton until March 24.
Teams from across the province can be seen at the Penticton Curling Club at 505 Vees Dr., as they vie for gold in both men香蕉视频直播檚 and women香蕉视频直播檚 divisions.
The event香蕉视频直播檚 opening ceremony took place Tuesday, March 19, with teams gathering for their official introductions.
Penticton hasn香蕉视频直播檛 had a senior provincial championship team since Marilou Richter, Dawn Everest, Cindy Curtain and Deirdre Riley represented the South Okanagan city and Kelowna in the women香蕉视频直播檚 division in 2019.
This weekend香蕉视频直播檚 tournament is hosted by the Penticton Curling Club, in conjunction with BC Curl.
Games can be streamed on Curl BC香蕉视频直播檚 YouTube page and on TELUS Optik TV (channels 707 or 1901).
The provincial group says it will qualify one senior men香蕉视频直播檚 team and an additional women香蕉视频直播檚 team to compete at the Canadian Curling Senior Championships, set to be held from Dec. 2 to 7, 2024, in Moncton, New Brunswick.
