Kelowna Gymnastix Team high-flying at Alberta competition

An outstanding weekend (Mar. 8-10) for members of the Kelowna Gymnastix Acrobatic team at Gymnastics in the Park in Edmonton, Alta.

Gold:

  • Women香蕉视频直播檚 Pair Ysabella Noelle Lano & Oliva Clark.

Silver:

  • Level 7 Women香蕉视频直播檚 Pair Brooklyn Fletcher & Sofia Tremblay;
  • Level 8 Women香蕉视频直播檚 Group Kinsley Huber, Faith Conway & Avery Osachoff.

Bronze:

  • Level 7 Women香蕉视频直播檚 Pair Callie English & Heidi Stojke;
  • Women香蕉视频直播檚 Group Erica Stojke, Sarah Lawless, and Junelle Sabang.

The competition included teams from B.C., Alta., and Sask.

Joining the team as a new coach this year from Ukraine is renowned dance instructor Natalia Tesla. She had an immediate impact on improving the artistry and choreography of the team.

香蕉视频直播淚t was exciting to see the Kelowna香蕉视频直播檚 team efforts and growth in artistry, their improvement over last year were notable,香蕉视频直播 said Nancy Carrs, international judge and Pan Americans Gymnastics Union representative.

Head Coach Shawna De Leske was also impressed with the team香蕉视频直播檚 performance.

Team Captain, Junelle Sabang pointed out that 香蕉视频直播渋t was amazing to see such a young developing team all place on the podium. 香蕉视频直播

The team will compete at the International Las Vegas Acro Cup in April.

There will also be a local Acrobatic Gymnastics event hosting teams from across Canada and the USA in May, the Grizzly Classic.

Acrobatic gymnastics is a competitive discipline of gymnastics where partners work together and perform high-flying Cirque De Soleil style moves, dance, and tumbling choreographed to music.
