Penticton BCHL star Ryden Evers signs with city's WHL club

Ryden Evers, who played for the Penticton Vees' BCHL club last season, has signed a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement with the city's new WHL club.

A familiar face to BCHL fans is staying in Penticton to play for the city's WHL expansion club.

Ryden Evers, who has spent the last two seasons suiting up for the Surrey Eagles and Penticton Vees of the BCHL respectively, has signed a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement with Penticton's new major junior hockey team.

Evers helped Surrey win the Fred Page Cup in 2024 before leading Penticton in scoring this past season with 60 points in 54 regular-season games.

In three BCHL seasons, Evers recorded 148 points in 161 games.

The 6香蕉视频直播4香蕉视频直播 and 192-pound centre, who is from Burnaby, added 11 points in 14 playoff games with Penticton in 2025.

"His combination of offensive production, physical presence, and playoff experience makes him a cornerstone addition as the Vees prepare for the upcoming season," the Vees said in a statement as they announced the signing of Evers on June 3.
