Premier international track and field event set to take place in Kelowna

The 41st annual Jack Brow Memorial, hosted by the Okanagan Athletics Club, is set to take place at the Apple Bowl from Friday, June 27 to Sunday, June 29.

The premier track and field events brings a high-level of competition and athletes from across Canada, the United States, and even Australia.

"We are incredibly excited to host the 41st Annual Jack Brow Memorial" says Mike Walsh, Jack Brow Memorial director. "This event not only provides a platform for athletes to compete at a high level but also offers a fantastic experience for our community and visitors."

For the competing athletes in the main four invitational events - 100m (both mens and women's), women's 800m, men's high jump - up to $6,400 is up for grabs. In each event, first place gets $800, second place $500, and third place $300.

On top of those, there are many more events taking place with a variety of age groups participating. The events can be found on the Okanagan Athletics Club .

For spectators, it costs $25 to the Jack Brow Blast BBQ area. The ticket includes a gourmet hot dog, chips, and a canned drink. There is also a VIP ticket option for $35. Those interested in attending can buy tickets on the website.
