Trail runners were on the move during a long run on Saturday, May 31.
The annual McLennan香蕉视频直播檚 Grit 12-hour Ultra Trail Run and Relay, in Conkle Mountain Park, blended extreme athletic challenge with the spirit of fun, health, and togetherness.
Runners of all ages participated in the five-kilometre looped course, with the goal of competing as many laps as possible during the 12-hour timeframe.
The start and finish line was at the Summerland Rodeo Grounds.
Kerri Dragic, the top women香蕉视频直播檚 solo runner, covered 75 kilometres.
Trevor Walters was the men香蕉视频直播檚 solo winner, covering a distance of 100 kilometres.
The top team was TaDaWa, consisting of David Larsen, Warren Fink, Taylor Artill and Colin Christmas. They covered 130 kilometres.
Top local performances came from Andrew Richmond and Connor Berrisford, each with 85 kilometres; Holden Girard and Michael Berrisford, each with 80 kilometres, and Susan Kast and Haley Berrisford with 60 kilometres each.
Organizers said many athletes also completed their first-ever ultradistance run at this event.
