Vernon Vipers goaltender Ethan David has committed to the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) Tigers of the NCAA for the 2023-24 season.
The Vancouver local has suited up for 76 regular season and playoff games for the Vipers. In his three year career, David has 10 shutouts, a 2.66 goals-against-average and a .913 save percentage, for 34 wins.

This season, in 18 games, the almost 20-year-old has 12 wins.

The RIT Tigers play in the NCAA Div. 1 in the AHA conference. They have made three appearances in the NCAA tournament in 2010, 2015 and 2016 and earned a spot in the Frozen Four in 2010.
