Fast food giant McDonaldÏã½¶ÊÓÆµÖ±²¥™s has lost the Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµÖ±²¥˜Big MacÏã½¶ÊÓÆµÖ±²¥™ trademark in the European Union, where regulators have ruled in favour of Ireland-based fast food SupermacÏã½¶ÊÓÆµÖ±²¥™s.
Arch-rival Burger King couldnÏã½¶ÊÓÆµÖ±²¥™t resist and is using a troll-type ad campaign to take a bite out of McDonaldÏã½¶ÊÓÆµÖ±²¥™s European marketshare.

European regulators revoked McDonaldÏã½¶ÊÓÆµÖ±²¥™s registration of the trade mark, saying it hadnÏã½¶ÊÓÆµÖ±²¥™t proven genuine use of it in the five years prior to the case being lodged in 2017.
