New and veteran motorcyclists in Kelowna had the chance to brush up on their skills at the inaugural Motorcycle Skills Day on Aug. 2.
Hosted by the Kelowna RCMP Traffic Unit at the University of B.C. Okanagan campus, about 40 riders came out to test their bike handling in obstacle courses set to stimulate real-life scenarios, as well as motorcycle safety and rider education.

RCMP said the first skills day was so successful, they've already started planning for next year.
