The Fintry Fusion Art Show and Sale, and Strawberry Cream Tea, will take place at the manor house Saturday and Sunday, June 21 and 22.
"It's a truly special day of art, nature, music, and delicious treats," said event spokesperson Elizabeth MacArthur.
This unique event is free to attend, with strawberry cream tea featuring a homemade scone, fresh strawberries with cream and your choice of coffee or tea Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµÖ±²¥“ for only $7. You can also purchase a comforting bowl of soup with a fresh bun, perfect for a relaxing lunch with a view and live music.
All proceeds from the food and beverage sales support the Friends of Fintry Provincial Park Society, a passionate volunteer group dedicated to preserving the history and charm of this spectacular Fintry Manor House.
The 116-year-old home is an architectural gem that offers a rare glimpse into the lives of the British gentry in early 20th century Canada. While youÏã½¶ÊÓÆµÖ±²¥™re there, donÏã½¶ÊÓÆµÖ±²¥™t miss the impressive Trophy Room, full of fascinating artifacts and stories.
When you step inside the magnificent structure, you will find 10 artists with their artwork on display throughout the house.
"Their work ranges in captivating styles and mediums, from etchings, oils, acrylics to landscapes, wildlife, whimsy, and portraits," said MacArthur. "Whether youÏã½¶ÊÓÆµÖ±²¥™re an art lover, a curious browser, or a collector, thereÏã½¶ÊÓÆµÖ±²¥™s something for everyone."
