Summer is here and the Wednesday on the Wharf by-donation live music concert series will have its second concert of the season on July 9.
Everyone is welcome at Marine Peace Park at 6:45 p.m. to hear the groundbreaking music group Curtis Clear Sky and the Constellationz.
Led by Curtis Clear Sky of the Anishinaabe and Nitsitapii (Blackfoot), the band is celebrated for its socially conscious lyrics, uplifting rhythms and electrifying performances that inspire unity and empowerment.
More than a band, Curtis Clear Sky and the Constellationz are a movement Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµÖ±²¥“ amplifying Indigenous perspectives through genre-mixing music and powerful storytelling. Their work reflects themes of resilience, empowerment, and deep connection to land and spirit, offering a vital Indigenous voice in contemporary music. They deliver a vibrant fusion of hip-hop, funk, rock and soul, and their innovative sound and message have earned them recognition across diverse audiences and platforms, with a growing reputation as leaders in culturally relevant and impactful music.
