A local queen has added another crown to her collection.
Samantha Sewell of Vernon was crowned Miss Legends International 2025 at the Envy Pageant Production Aug. 1 to 3 in Florida.
Representing all of Canada, Sewell not only earned the international crown but also took home awards for Best Runway and Best National Costume.
For the national costume segment, she wowed the judges with a striking Winter Goddess ensemble featuring a white feathered, light-up headpiece and a flowing cape adorned with a maple leaf Ï㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥” a tribute to her Canadian heritage.
An early childhood educator, Sewell launched Raising Stars Preschool in 2022 in her hometown, welcoming nearly 200 families through its doors to provide a more inclusive and empowering start to education for preschoolers.
Sewell has been awarded numerous pageant crowns over the years as she stands up to bullying with her platform, Be Someone's Hero, Not a Bystander.
Living with Apraxia of Speech, an invisible disability, Samantha uses her voice and visibility to champion inclusivity and empower others facing similar challenges.
As Miss Legends International, Samantha will represent the organization across the globe through public appearances, travel, and social media advocacy. She was selected as the first Miss Legends International Canada in 2024.
