Weather conditions are once again favourable for thunderstorms in the Okanagan, according to Environment Canada.
On Tuesday, July 22, at 10:49 a.m., the government weather agency issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the North, Central and South Okanagan, down to the Osoyoos border.
The current weather conditions could produce strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain, as well as flash flooding and reduced visibility.
"When thunder roars, go indoors," stated Environment Canada. "Lightning kills and injures Canadians every year."
