Crews are dealing with hot spots that have flared back up in the area of the Daves Creek wildfire in Joe Rich.
Smoke can be seen off Highway 33.
Firefighters appear to have the situation under control.
Fire crews are being called back to the Joe Rich area after flames were spotted near Highway 33 and Goudie Road.
A wildfire had sparked off Highway 33 on Sunday, Aug. 10.
The blaze grew to 2.53 hectares, forcing tactical evacuations in the area and closing Highway 33.
The Daves Creek wildfire was considered held on Monday, Aug. 11.
Now, as a special weather statement is being issued for gusty northerly winds in the region, flames have re-ignited at the Daves Creek wildfire location.
