As graduation season ramps up across the Central Okanagan, the Kelowna RCMP is urging parents to speak to their kids about the dangers unsanctioned grad parties.

These gatherings, often organized through social media or word of mouth, may seem like harmless fun to students eager to celebrate the end of high school, an RCMP media release states. But police say they can quickly spiral into dangerous territory香蕉视频直播攅specially when held in remote or unsupervised locations like forested areas, parks, or private homes.

Without adult supervision, the likelihood of underage drinking, drug use, and risky behaviour increases significantly. That can raise the chances of accidents, injuries, and even criminal charges.

Kelowna RCMP are working with School District 23 to monitor potential party hotspots and intervene before things get out of hand. Officers are already familiar with the usual locations and will be enforcing laws related to underage drinking, drug use, mischief, and noise disturbances.
