UPDATE:
Firefighters were able to knock down an Armstrong blaze.
The call came in shortly after 1 p.m. and five trucks from the Armstrong Spallumcheen Fire Department responded and quickly extinguished the fire.
Fire Chief Rob Brown told The Morning Star the cause is believed to be accidental.
The fire was in a field right beside the Okanagan Hatchery, but the hatchery did not sustain any damage.

A fire has been reported in Armstrong.
Reports are the blaze is in a dry field at the Okanagan Hatchery.
Armstrong Spallumcheen Fire Department is on scene and it appears the blaze is under control.
