Kamloops Mounties always get their men, or so it seems after targeting prolific and well-known offenders resulting in eight people arrested, four firearms seized, and 37 charges approved over the month of July.
One of the investigations included stopping a motorcyclist on July 18, who was eventually arrested after reportedly kicking a police officer. A gun was also seized during the arrest. Richard Graham remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing. He is currently charged with 10 offences, including possessing prohibited firearms and assaulting a police officer.
Superintendent Jeff Pelley of the Kamloops RCMP said that between July 10 and July 19, there were seven arrests, including multiple investigations of warrant executions, stolen vehicles, weapon and drug offences, and intimate partner violence.

The six other separate accused and their associated charges are:
- Michael Luttman is charged with six offences, including three for firearms and weapons offences, and is currently in custody awaiting a bail hearing
- Nicholas Dekelver is charged with three offences, including driving while prohibited, and has been detained by the court
- Spencer Adams is charged with five offences, including dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and is currently in custody awaiting a bail hearing
- Blake Bernhard is charged with two offences, assault causing bodily harm and assault by choking and has been detained by the court
- Cameron Jewett is charged with five offences, including possession of firearm firearm-related offences
- Joshua Ippolito is charged with four offences, including driving while prohibited
- Joshua Ippolito is also charged with two offences of theft under $5,000
An investigation is still underway in relation to a firearm that was seized during the arrest of the eighth individual, said Pelley. The Kamloops RCMP Detachment anticipate recommending charges on this matter.
