The emergency department at the South Okanagan General Hospital in Oliver is closed for seven hours on Saturday, Aug. 16.
According to Interior Health, the temporary service interruption will make emergency services unavailable from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Patients who require emergency care are to go to Penticton Regional Hospital, or if in a life-threatening emergency to call 911.
All other inpatient services will continue at South Okanagan General Hospital during the seven hour stretch.
