The 2025 federal election has run its course.

The ballots have been cast and the preliminary results have been counted and released. 

While not all voters will like the results, Canada香蕉视频直播檚 electorate has spoken and the outcome has been determined.

Elections in Canada are taken seriously and efforts are taken to ensure the integrity of the process. 

Results are scrutinized carefully and the electoral process is examined by Elections Canada and also by international organizations.

Vote counting is done in front of two election workers and in front of observers including candidates or their representatives. This provides a level of transparency to the process.

Ballot counting is done by hand and automatic counting machines are not used. 

Safeguards are in place to prevent tampering or other electoral fraud.

The integrity of Canada香蕉视频直播檚 federal elections has been scrutinized in this country.

In late January, The Public Inquiry into Foreign Interference in Federal Electoral Processes and Democratic Institutions released its report following a 15-month investigation, examining possible foreign state and non-state actors in the 2019 and 2021 federal elections. The report also examined ways to ensure Canada香蕉视频直播檚 electoral process remains strong and trustworthy.

Canadian elections are also examined internationally, and these studies show a high level of trust in the process of elections in this country.

Transparency International from Germany, the Electoral Integrity Project from Canada and the United Kingdom, and the Economist Intelligence Unit from the United Kingdom all give Canada strong marks for the strength of this country香蕉视频直播檚 democracy. Each of these entities is respected for its analysis.

There is always room for improvement, and there will always be attempts at fraud, voter manipulation and interference. 

Still, the system itself is trustworthy and the final result from Elections Canada will be released in the days ahead, the outcome will be an accurate reflection of the April 28 election.

The decision has been made. The voters have spoken. Now it is time to work with the newly elected government for the good of the country.
