From the Netherlands, to Kansas, to Kelowna, and now the West Coast League (WCL) all-star game.
On Tuesday, July 8, Kelowna Falcons pitcher Gio de Graauw was named to the WCL 2025 all-star game after an outstanding first half of the season.
Through seven starts this season, the right-hander pitcher leads the league with a 0.99 ERA. The Breukeleveen, Netherlands product has thrown 36.1 innings, allowing just four earned runs while striking out 39 batters.
His best start of the season came on June 25 when he threw a two-hit shutout against the Kamloops NorthPaws.
The 2025 WCL all-star game is taking place on Wednesday, July 16 in Bellingham, Wa.
