There's still room for more players in Grades 4-11 for the 40th annual Hoops and Hustle Basketball Camp, set for June 30-July 3 at Vernon's Clarence Fulton Secondary School.

Spots are still available for one of Vernon's longest running and popular summer basketball camps.

Hoops and Hustle celebrates 40 years in 2025, and camp director Dale Olson said Monday, June 16, there's still room for more players.

"Hoops and Hustle is known for making its participants better players by developing a solid base of fundamentals from our outstanding coaching staff," said Olson, longtime head coach of Vernon's Fulton Maroons senior boys high school squad.

"Our staff is composed of local high school coaches and Spencer McKay."

McKay is a former Canadian university basketball coach and a former Canadian International and professional basketball player who currently runs the Lake City Hoops program in Penticton.

The Hoops and Hustle basketball camp goes June 30 to July 3 at Clarence Fulton Secondary.

Boys and girls from Grades 4-11 are encouraged to sign up to test their skills at one of the best fundamentals camps in the province.

Participants will receive two clinics and one game per day.

The college camp (Grade 3-7 in Sept. 2025) will go from 8:30 a.m.- 12 p.m. each day while the pro camp (Grades 8-11 in Sept. 2025) will run from 1- 5 p.m.

Cost of the camp is $175. If interested, contact Olson at 250-550-4105 or dolson@sd22.bc.ca
