The Vancouver Canucks officially extended three key members of their team on Tuesday morning.
On Tuesday, July 1, the franchise announced it has signed goaltender Thatcher Demko to a three-year contract extension worth $8.5 million per season and forward Conor Garland to a six-year contract extension worth $6 million per season.
A couple hours later, the Canucks announced they have re-signed its longest-tenured forward Brock Boeser to a seven-year contract worth $7.25 million per season.
The 28-year-old has spent his entire career with the Canucks, scoring 204 goals and totalling 434 points in his 554 games. In the 2023-24 season, he score 40 goals for the first and only time in his career.
Vancouver drafted Boeser in the first round (23rd overall) in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.

Demko went 10-8-3 in the 2024/25 season with a 2.90 goals against average and .889 save percentage.
He has been part of the Canucks organization since the team drafted him in the second round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
In 81 games last season, Garland collected 31 assists and 50 points, both the second-best season total in his career.
