B.C. comedian Peter Hudson has released his first single.
Hudson recently debuted Plexiglass, a parody of Justin Timberlake香蕉视频直播檚 2006 song SexyBack all about COVID-19 masks and barriers. After living through 香蕉视频直播渁 hell of a year,香蕉视频直播� Hudson said humour and comedy are needed more than ever.
香蕉视频直播淚t香蕉视频直播檚 been the hardest year of my life,香蕉视频直播� the Nanaimo resident said. 香蕉视频直播淚 lost a couple jobs and of course not promoting and doing comedy and I香蕉视频直播檓 just like, 香蕉视频直播榊ou know what? We need to laugh about crappy situations and make light of them because that香蕉视频直播檚 part of the healing.香蕉视频直播櫹憬妒悠抵辈
Hudson said he香蕉视频直播檚 always been a fan of music parodies and has wanted to release a parody album of his own. With COVID-19 restrictions inhibiting his performing career 香蕉视频直播� Hudson said he has香蕉视频直播檛 had a show since November 香蕉视频直播� he took the opportunity to finally explore music. He said, 香蕉视频直播渨hen those road blocks are in front of you, you keep on smashing them.香蕉视频直播�
香蕉视频直播淣ow香蕉视频直播檚 the time more than ever to try new things, you know what I mean? Try and be uncomfortable as an artist a bit and do things that we normally wouldn香蕉视频直播檛 do because of COVID-19,香蕉视频直播� Hudson said.
In the video, Hudson, as his ex-con web series character 5-10, dons a plastic helmet and enters a grocer香蕉视频直播檚 before breaking into song. The video was shot at Nanaimo香蕉视频直播檚 Superette Foods. Hudson said 香蕉视频直播渢hey just pretty much gave me the keys to the place.香蕉视频直播�
香蕉视频直播淭hey were so stoked. They香蕉视频直播檙e like, 香蕉视频直播榊eah, this is awesome,香蕉视频直播櫹憬妒悠抵辈 he said. 香蕉视频直播淎nd it has that nostalgic, corner store feeling which I think is becoming a thing of the past. There香蕉视频直播檚 not many downtown corner stores or grocery markets left, really.香蕉视频直播�
The box-like helmet was custom-made at Industrial Plastics and Paints in Nanaimo.

Hudson香蕉视频直播檚 next single is coming out April 20 and will be a cannabis-themed take on a classic rock song. Among the other tracks on the record are a power ballad and even a disco tune. He said the full album will be released May 1.
