Richter Street car fire being investigated by Kelowna RCMP

The incident happened around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday night

Kelowna RCMP are investigating a car fire that happened around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27 in the 2500 block of Richter Street.

The cause of a car fire late Tuesday night has yet to be determined.

Around 11:30 p.m. on May 27, both the Kelowna RCMP and Kelowna Fire Department (KFD) responded to a report of a car fire in the 2500-block of Richter Street.

RCMP communications advisor Ryan Watters told Black Press Media that the fire department extinguished the blaze and no one was injured. 

It's unknown at this time how the fire started and if the driver of the vehicle has been notified.

Kelowna RCMP have an investigation ongoing.
