Lightning is the suspected cause of a new wildfire north of Anglemont.
BC Wildfire Service reported the blaze on Wednesday, July 16 shortly before 11 p.m.
The fire is described as located 500 metres west of Hudson Creek.
It is .009 hectares and classified as out of control.
A second wildfire has been reported in the Loftus Creek area between Salmon Arm and Revelstoke.
It is also listed as .009 hectares and out of control.
