The BC Wildfire Service reports the Owl Creek FSR wildfire east of Sicamous is now being held. Lightning was the suspected cause of the fire.

A spot-sized wildfire is burning near Sicamous.
The Owl Creek FSR fire was discovered Monday afternoon, Aug. 4, approximately five kilometres east of Sicamous.
BC Wildfire Service is responding with an initial attack crew and support as needed.
