°­±ð±ô´Ç·É²Ô²¹Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµÖ±²¥™s helped CanadaÏã½¶ÊÓÆµÖ±²¥™s national womenÏã½¶ÊÓÆµÖ±²¥™s field hockey squad to a solid fourth-place showing at the 2017 Pan American Cup in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

The 19th world-ranked Canadians reached the bronze medal game where they gave the No. 4-ranked Americans all they could handle before eventually losing 2-1.

Canada had tied the U.S. earlier in the tournament in pool play, breaking the AmericansÏã½¶ÊÓÆµÖ±²¥™ 26-game winning streak.

Hennig, 26, a defender and one of the veterans on the Canadian roster, had 132 caps heading into the tournament. A graduate of KSS and the OwlsÏã½¶ÊÓÆµÖ±²¥™ field hockey program, Hennig played her first international match in 2010.

The Canadian womenÏã½¶ÊÓÆµÖ±²¥™s team will now focus its attention on the 2018 Commonwealth Games next April in Queensland, Australia.
