Members of the Kelowna Crows junior rugby club are seeing their hard work pay off, with inclusions in the training camp roster for the provincial U17 team.
Kai Reynolds, Grady Baker Curran, Gavin Mark and Everett Pinkoski are four of 30 players selected to the training camp squad of the B.C. Bears.
Athletes will venture to Vancouver Island's Shawnigan Lake School from Aug. 3-7 for the training camp. Ultimately, 24 players will be selected to represent the Bears in a three-match series against Rugby Ontario's U17 team in Brampton, Ont., from Aug. 23-31.

"Shawnigan offers an opportunity for the athletes to experience a high-level atmosphere, to prepare some of these athletes for a competitive experience as they hopefully continue in the representative pathway. Our Bears Camp will offer highly competitive games to elevate the experience for them."
During the training camp, the team will compete against Whitgift School from the United Kingdom and the Alberta Wolfpack.
Reynolds, Curran, Mark and Pinkoski all played on the U18 Crows team last year, competing against other mainland and island clubs.
